PM Modi in 2016 gave an idea to conduct simultaneous elections throughout the country consist of Lok Sabha elections with State Assembly elections . That gave it the name "One Nation- One Election" . After a dominant performance in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, PM Modi again making move to discuss the future of One Nation-One Election. All party meeting was held on 19th June to have a widespread discussion and suggestions about this proposal. Let us understand what this proposed proposal is about:- One Nation - One Election Currently, India holds the election for Lok Sabha and State Assembly separately, when the 5yr term of the government ends or the assembly dissolves. The draft of the New Education Policy has been recently submitted by the Committee led by the Chairman Dr. Kasturirangan on education policy. Why there is a need for a new education policy? Current National Policy on Education, 1986 modified in 1992 requires changes to fulfill the futuristic needs of India's growing youth population.
